Transfer Credit Information for Prospective Students

Applicants who have studied in a college or university program after graduating from high school may be able to transfer the credits earned to Seattle Central College. The credits may be used to meet requirements for a degree program.

Preliminary Evaluations

To learn if the credits you completed at a college or university can be transferred, check the box on the application form requesting a preliminary evaluation of your transcripts. Be sure to submit copies of your transcripts with your other application materials. You will receive a preliminary evaluation of your transcripts along with your acceptance materials.

Note: the evaluation will not be finalized until you submit an evaluation request form in person, and original, official transcripts to the International Student Center, after you enroll at Seattle Central.
